This section of my website is dedicated to possibly the most influential toy line of all time. In my opinion no other toy line had such
an impact on the youth of America. In fact the G.I. JOE A Real American Hero toy line changed the way that toys were marketed to
the youth of America. It was no longer sufficient to put them in a Sears & Roebuck catalog, set them on store shelves, or use simple
commercials. It was now necessary to create comic books and cartoons to market any other toy that hoped to compete with G.I. JOE.
At the time that G.I. JOE was hitting its prime in the mid - 1980's I was at the perfect age to have my life forever changed by 3 3/4"
plastic figures that battled "the international paramilitary terrorist force". G.I. JOE has been an integral part of my life for over 25
years, more than two thirds of my life. I do not recall the last day that passed in my life that I did not have a thought about these
miniature heroes. I hope that you enjoy seeing my collection and reading about the impact of G.I. JOE on my life.
