| Created: June 2012 Parts Used: Head: Pathfinder V1 Chest: Shipwreck V1 Arms: Buzzer V1 Hands: BBi Middle Piece: Buzzer V1 Upper Legs: Mutt V3 Lower Legs: Buzzer V1 Modifications: Modified Stalker V2 machine gun by removing the handles and barrel. A Buzzer V1 chainsaw blade was attached to the front of the machine gun. Pieces of a PAC Rat were used as a hand guard and exhaust, and copper wire was used for the handles. A Buzzer V1 back pack was modified by removing the back peg and the peg to hold on the gas can. A piece of leather shoe string was used as a sling. A BBi smoke grenade and ammo pouch for the Thompson M1 round ammo drum was added to the sling. A Marauder John grenade was added to the sling as well. A piece of fabric elastic was also added to hold the chainsaw in place. A hole was dremeled out of the bottom of pack frame so that the chainsaw blade could fit through it. A 21st Century Toys M-1 submachine gun was modified by removing the 30 round clip and replacing it with a Marauder Inc RPK-47 ammo drum and a string sling. Modified a Buzzer V1 mace by removing the chain and handle and replacing it with a piece of jewelry chain and a miscellaneous medieval axe handle. Modified Pathfinder V1 head by removing the sculpted hat and replacing it with Scarlett V13 hair and pony tail. Shipwreck V1 chest was modified by adding "Apoxie Sculpt" to the shoulders for rolled sleeves and the top of the chest as tee shirt collar. Buzzer V1 arms were modified by adding "Apoxie Sculpt" for tee shirt sleeves. The hands were removed and BBi hands were added to make them able to be positioned in different poses. Buzzer V1 middle piece was modified by removing the sculpted groin protector. Inspiration for Custom: I was never really happy with the overall look of my first version of Buzzer. In my opinion the head just never looked right and I wanted to remove the shoulder strap from the right of the chest. I also wanted to give Buzzer a "tougher" overall look. I searched several Internet images for Buzzer and decided that I really liked is look from the Devil's Due comic series. I tried to follow this look closely, giving him longer hair and a goatee and a different color scheme. I also wanted to update the custom Thompson M1 that I made for him. I thought it was a crazy idea to give him a military issue Thompson M1 with an gangster ammo drum. I also wanted to remove the bright red paint from the custom chain saw I had used previously and I replaced it with a Husqvarna chainsaw orange color. The last thing that I wanted to do was make the Buzzer V1 mace a little bit more realistic. This was done by replacing the handle and chain. I also wanted Buzzer to be able to carry all of his gear, so I made it so that he could store his mace and chainsaw on his modified pack frame. I really think that most of the equipment of the Dreadnoks would be worn and weathered so the paint was applied to give it that specific look. While this is not one of my more complicated customs, I feel like it is definitely Buzzer, a little less conspicuous version that could hang out in any bike bar and not draw attention to himself. |
